FOREWORD
Vittorio Grassi and Marco Aloisini will be the protagonists of the conference that will address, concretely and with case studies, the management and complexity of projects in order to develop a debate on how collaboration and multidisciplinary confrontation generate innovation.
INTRODUCTION
Designing and completing the construction of a building is a long and complex process.
New and justified expectations for sustainability, safety, comfort and innovation have raised the bar for building performance and the performance required of individual designers, who are now increasingly called upon to work synergistically and in an integrated manner. New rules increase the complexity of the process and new technologies help simplify it, but, today more than ever and in spite of artificial intelligence, the human factor is what counts.
Working in close-knit and motivated interdisciplinary teams is the only way to produce beautiful and functional architecture and not just ultra-performing construction.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The aim of the conference is to describe how the complexity of projects is concretely addressed and to develop a discussion on how multidisciplinary collaboration and confrontation generate innovation.
Specifically, the aim is to stimulate a discussion on the following issues:
- Sustainability in light of new energy protocols
- The integrated project and site management
- Public competitions and projects: difficulties and success stories
- The future of plant services and technology in buildings
