The project for the former Sofer area proposes a varied architectural intervention without a unified nature, where the extreme variety of volumes allows for different architectural expressions according to different urban conditions.

The functional program integrates a heterogeneous set of activities in a restricted area, avoiding depopulation during the day.

Planned interventions include a new visitor center and nautical services, redevelopment of public areas, interventions on the “Sea Palace,” underground parking lots, workshops, offices, residential housing, two urban parks, the redeveloped waterfront and bike path, expansion of beach access, a new Boardwalk and wooden buildings with receptive function, Hotel and Spa and the “Arts and Crafts Pole” modulated according to the existing warehouses.

Stores, restaurants, cafes, sports facilities, offices, temporary residences, nightclubs, beaches and archaeological elements will coexist harmoniously in the new neighborhood.

The road system will be improved with the doubling of Fasano Street towards Arco Felice and the construction of a large access square.

The intervention aims to strengthen Pozzuoli’s high-quality tourism infrastructure, integrating the needs of archaeological and environmental protection with functional and innovative design. The entire complex represents an excellent example of an architectural masterplan, urban regeneration, urban design, and the enhancement of street furniture.
