The intervention made it possible to regenerate an imposing late-nineteenth-century building characterized by typical Milanese architecture, combining restoration and conservative refurbishment with modern solutions.

The renovation of the historic building was carried out through an integrated design strategy, preserving its historical charm while improving its energy and technological performance, creating functional, comfortable environments with a strong aesthetic impact.

The architectural restyling involved all five floors of the building, including the lobby, three co-working areas, 72 offices, four meeting rooms, and indoor and outdoor spaces dedicated to breaks, interaction, and leisure. The intervention also included a refined lighting system and state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, with new data, electrical, and fire-prevention systems, transforming the building into a clear example of eco-sustainable and functional architecture.

Particular attention was given to the ground-floor lobby, which connects Piazzale Biancamano to the internal courtyard and facilitates movement to all areas of the building, ensuring accessibility and spatial fluidity. This project represents a model of modern office architecture, where sustainability in architecture and respect for historical heritage come together, creating a truly sustainable building in the heart of the city.
