An Award to Our Philosophy

Our project Porta Romana 19, owned by Gruppo Unipol, will be exhibited at the “Best Italian Interior Design” show, held during the 17th Architecture Biennale, scheduled in Venice from May 22 to August 22, 2021.
This recognition rewards the integration between architecture and interior design—a recurring quality in our projects. At VGA, we have always interpreted interior design as a true “architecture of interiors,” going beyond purely decorative aspects. The sequence between solids and voids, the relationship between volumes, the presence of greenery, the clarity of circulation, the simplicity of movement, transparency, and light are fundamental elements that must inspire and evoke emotion.
Sustainability certifications for indoor environments, such as the WELL Building Standard or BREEAM In-Use, confirm that this is the right approach. Design must place people at the center of its research.
