THE CITY OF THE FUTURE
Vittorio Grassi, on the occasion of Architect@Work, addresses the theme of “Oxygen” by talking about the great challenge of contemporary architecture: not idealizing garden districts in the suburbs, but bringing greenery and nature inside cities. Create open spaces, parks and public gardens that neighborhood residents and citizens can share.
The theme of “Oxygen” understood as ecology, health, community and sociality is explored by the VGA studio in projects such as the Cecchignola Military Citadel, the Lamezia Terme Sports Hall, the Koà Zambon corporate restaurant or the ZIM Area master plan in Samara.
