The Teatro Luxury Apartments project is an example of sustainable architecture in the heart of Florence, redeveloping the former Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The development enhances the historic heritage of the site through the restoration and preservation of significant architectural, artistic, and cultural elements, combining tradition and innovation through an architectural masterplan that includes a new internal piazza, intended to become a landmark for the local community and an open urban space seamlessly integrated into the existing urban fabric.
The project also incorporates the principles of hospitality architecture, offering exclusive amenities such as a concierge service, a rooftop terrace with solarium, a fitness center, a wellness spa, children’s areas, co-working spaces, restaurants, and 170 parking spaces.
Thanks to the collaboration with a renowned interior design studio, each interior space is designed to combine aesthetics and functionality, residential comfort, and the perceptual quality of the environments.
The complex is composed of three newly constructed buildings and offers a residential concept centered on compact units of approximately 50 m², as well as cluster apartments designed for short-term rentals. Shared common areas, dining facilities, and dedicated services provide a comprehensive living experience, aligned with the principles of sustainable architecture and the highest standards of contemporary green building practices.
The use of sustainable building materials and bioclimatic architectural solutions ensures an energy-efficient and environmentally responsible building, carefully integrated into its historic setting without compromising the urban and environmental balance of the surrounding area.
The LEED Gold certification confirms the commitment to environmental sustainability, making Teatro Luxury Apartments a clear example of sustainable architecture, residential and hospitality architectural design, and a model for architecture focused on the restoration and conservation of art and heritage within the contemporary urban landscape.
