The project aims to redevelop a symbolic place in Florence’s history: the former Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino, in the heart of the city.
The intent is to enhance a fascinating place by intervening with new buildings and, at the same time, redeveloping the surrounding urban area, where a new square will be built, destined to become a point of interest for the city community.
The complex consists of 3 new buildings and a new inner square. The housing typology favors minimum units of 50 m² and cluster apartments for short-term rentals. Shared common spaces and a restaurant business complete the overall project offerings.
The complex will be called Teatro Luxury Apartments and will feature a concierge, terrace with solarium, gym, spa, children’s areas, co-working spaces, restaurants and 170 parking spaces. Included in the Starhotels Collezione, the group’s high-end brand, it will achieve LEED Gold certification for environmental sustainability.
