The central element of the office architecture intervention is the new painted steel sheet staircase, which welcomes visitors in the entrance hall and unfolds in a spiral of scenographic and sculptural flights, becoming a distinctive feature of the entire contemporary architectural project.
The intervention also involved the entrance hall, where the existing structures were removed, a new glass vestibule was introduced, and improved accessibility was implemented.
The furnishings, reception area, and lighting were completely renewed, with the introduction of new linear light sources integrated into the suspended ceilings, enhancing the perceptual quality of the workspaces and reinforcing the concept of workplace architecture.

The property is located near the historic center of Genova, in the heart of the Piccapietra district, close to the courthouse and Piazza De Ferrari, an area primarily characterized by office buildings and commercial activities.
This urban context, just a few hundred meters from the historic center and the Porto Antico, represents a strategic area for urban regeneration and redevelopment, where office architecture is integrated into a consolidated fabric of contemporary architecture.
The intervention enhances circulation spaces, existing façades, and the attic level through a qualitative, balanced, and sustainable solution, in line with the principles of restoration and conservative refurbishment.
The project is based on the fundamental and essential principles of any ideal workplace, characteristic of workplace architecture: natural light, healthy air, and a safe and secure environment, interpreted according to the standards of modern architecture.
From the outside, it is clearly evident how the renovation project has adopted high-quality functional and architectural choices, capable of engaging in dialogue with the existing urban context.
The renovation of the main staircase extends up to the roof, with new floor finishes and new aluminum suspended ceilings for the landings, forming part of a coherent intervention of urban regeneration and restoration with conservative refurbishment.
New centralized air-conditioning systems were installed on the roof, and the elevators were replaced and extended, with the addition of a new stop at the attic level.
On the tenth floor, the intervention reclaimed the attic, previously used as storage and surrounded by a service roof, transforming it into a bright and panoramic workspace.
This space represents one of the most significant outcomes of the entire modern office architecture project, becoming one of the most sought-after areas within the overall urban regeneration intervention.
